Hello Everybody,
I'm excited to announce the launch of the Flutter 101 Podcast.
This is Vince Varga. I'm a software developer based in Munich, and I've been working with Flutter for about 2-3 years now. I enjoy developing apps with Flutter, and I enjoy writing Dart code. I am also a huge podcast nerd. I listen to podcasts all the time, while I commute, while I work out, when I'm running, and I really missed having a Flutter podcast that is published regularly. I wished I could go for a run and simultaneously learn more about software development, Flutter, and Dart. So I decided to give it a go and launch a Flutter podcast.
In some episodes, we will have guests on, and sometimes, I'll do solo episodes. I hope to get all kinds of different guests on the show, Flutter and Dart developers, GDEs (Google Developer Experts), open-source package and plugin maintainers, course creators, book authors, and members of the Flutter team.
I want to make this podcast simple and easily digestible. I want that after you listen to an episode, you can apply that knowledge immediately, without first having to dig into the documentation or articles.
I want to touch on every important topic for Flutter and Dart developers, be it the classics, like different state management solutions, logging, clean code, test-driven development, animations, and accessibility. We will show you how to develop a plugin, how to publish a package. We will discuss how and when to convince your team to give Flutter a chance, when's Flutter a good match for you, and when it's better to try something else. We will share our experience with adapting Flutter. I also want to talk about related technologies such as Firebase, different cloud platforms or storage solutions, analytics, CI/CD solutions. And I hope I can do a couple of episodes on full-stack Dart, too: Dart on the server, on the command-line, on the web, or as cloud functions.
We are kicking things off on the 1st of March. In the meantime, follow us on Twitter @flutter101dev, and tell a friend or coworker about the podcast the Flutter 101 Podcast.
To make sure you don't miss anything, subscribe to the Flutter 101 Podcast on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Go to flutter101.dev for listening to the podcast from your web browser. You will also find an RSS feed here.
I look forward to the in-depth and insightful conversations. So again, hit subscribe, and thanks for listening. Have a great day and see you soon.
